The video 'Ich allein auf Fremden Wegen' has been recorded in summer Berlin. It talks us about the human adaptation to a strange environment and how the identity adapts itself to a foreign patterns to feel integrated. To do that different conceptual parts have been proposed to guide us in this adaptive process: contemplation, participation, control, repetition and ignorance.
In this work the author becomes in performer and narrator, and he does accomplice of his thoughts to the spectator, although he reveals finally a secret that will change of sense of direction all he have said before.
The video deepens in the immigrant identity, in the conscience of the difference and the inclusion and exclusion inside of the dominant group.
